It’s hard to believe that in 1862 the US. Government was giving away land to those who agreed to farm it. Our family took that plunge in the year 1876 and settled outside the small town of Bison, Kansas. They quickly learned the importance of hard work was the key to their own success and freedom. Over the years, our family grew the farm and acquired more land and became successful at continuing the family tradition. Currently, the farm is operated by Owner Janice Thielenhaus and Operations Manager, Sean Winter. A&JT Farms have been providing grain to Southern California for distilling for the last 7 years. Our customers have been successfully using our Hard Red Winter Wheat to produce award winning Whiskies, Vodka & Gin. Now, we’re ready to help other craft distilleries with their grain needs.
